Prologue

An old message alerts Ordo Xenos inquisitor Ilvex "Vex" Tamruth of a genestealer infection on the agrarian world or Eredius III. But he is unaware that a much larger threat hides behind his prey. He and his allies soon have to fight for sheer survival, just to earn a chance to stop their enemy's plans.

This is the first of my inquisitor Vex stories in the Warhammer 40000k universe. Originally envisioned as a short story about a genestealer cultist joining an inquisitorial retinue, it grew a bit out of scope...
