In a world where not only does one have to worry about the rank they are assigned, they have to worry about finding the best mate that will please their families.

Alphas can only mate betas and omegas.

Betas may occasionally mate omegas.

By no means is an alpha allowed to mate an alpha, or an omega mate an omega.

It is looked down upon and the wolves who try to practice this are subject to the punishment deemed worthy by their packs. For most, it means death.
