Prologue

Talise Balruth wanted nothing more in her life than to be left alone, but after killing a man that attacked her, she found herself as the unwilling leader of The Crows, a notorious group of bandits. Resigned to her fate, she becomes a woman wanted by both kingdoms, Clarines and Tanbarun. An unfortunate event adds another target to her back, an ex-assassin from her past, sent to bring her in to his Master, by any means necessary.
