Rosalyn Tahanna used to be the heir to the throne of Ylmea. The future Queen. But when she loses control of her powers and causes a terrible accident, the crime of her fire mage parents was discovered. She was banished and imprisoned in the treacherous Phoenix lands, never to be released again.

When a dragon is whispered to roam around in the skies at home, however, Rosalyn takes it as a sign of change. Together with questionable Phoenix allies, she sets out to prove she is more than a mistake of nature, and take back her rightful place as Queen of Ylmea.
