Description
Most don't think about how the world is going to end. I know I never did. Because I never thought I would face a potential end of the world scenario in my lifetime. But nothing ever seems to go to plan in this world. Nothing would ever prepare me and my family for the turmoil and chaos our lives would become. Nothing can prepare anyone for a near extinction of humanity, the destruction of Earth as we know it. The idea of Earth being destroyed was deemed a virtual impossibility, at least in my lifetime. No one would have predicted that a completely arbitrary and incomprehensible affliction could have overtaken the planet the way the one I experienced, known only as The Infection, did. And nothing but sheer luck could pull me out of that alive.
