Synopsis

Alison Barton, having failed her last semester of college yet again, finds herself running home to the city for the first time in four years for the summer. Not only does she have her parents mutual disappointment to look forward to, but a friendly visit from her highly successful best friend in the arms of her high school sweetheart - the first boy to break her heart - leaves her in a huge state of shock. With everything and everyone changes, Alison quickly realizes that the comfort of being home isn't going to come easily, especially when it involves falling in love with the heartbreak of her life all over again.
