"Please, don't go, Magnus." Alec said imploringly as a tear ran down his cheek. "I need you." he said. I swallowed hard and tried not to show the sadness I felt in my soul, only the anger.

"And I hate you." I answered. He seemed very surprised and hurt by my answer, just as I expected. He slowly let go of my wrist. "I'm done with you." I said and meant it for the last time.

Magnus Bane was one of the best police officers in town. Together with his best friend, Celine, they worked hard every day. Lately they tried to catch a mysterious thief, but it was harder than they thought because he was very clever.
