Lan Wright needs to write an article about students who surpass their daily struggles. He meets an anemic student, Alec Hanson, whose condition isn't an impediment to develop a strong bond towards Lan. Throughout Stray Dog Academy, Lan not only must complete the school paper, but he also must surpass his fake friends, threats, and other dangers in order to acquire Alec's heart, and inevitably, make two hearts beat with splendor.
