Chapter one

Just one more year. One more year and I would be out of this place, safe, no longer in danger.
That is, if I even made it to graduation.

Hope wasn't even a thing on my radar until a stranger with bright blue eyes called my name at the bottom of a hill. He was kind, warm and he acted like he might actually care about me, the problem was...he was my teacher.

How could I push him away when all he wanted to do was help me live? Can I believe what he says? Can I trust him? Or is my fate of dying before I get my diploma sealed in the stars? Here's to senior year.
