"The faint smell of rain and evergreen trees lingered in the fresh air. I took in a deep breath and turned to walk towards the carriages that take you to the school. However, I was met by a familiar face. "Hello Miss Lestin." There he stood....hovering over me with those beautiful dark eyes. He usually never talks to the students outside of class, but last year he started interacting with me more. One night as I was in detention for being late to class, I could have sworn he leaned in to kiss me. I was helping him grade papers at his desk. Our only sources of light were a couple of dimly lit candles. I blame it on the ambiance of the room for my misunderstanding. When he leaned in I froze. His hand raised to touch my cheek but as I leaned in he huffed and pulled away. Apparently, he was actually wiping ink off of my face.
