Cataleya García, a former best friend of Chase Matthews starts a new school year at PCA after finishing up tenth grade. Now during her junior year she faces immense struggles to keep her bond with Chase after falling for one of his best friends, Logan Reese.

Cataleya is warned that Logan isn't the right guy for her by Chase and his friends that also attend PCA that she later becomes friends with as well. Logan is caught in lies, flirting with other girls, and even is a massive jerk to Cataleya.

Everyone claims that he is not one to be loved, but more like one to be forever alone. Because, after all, Logan is portrayed as a troublemaker that thinks being an instigator is how to win over a girl.

But Cataleya doesn't view Logan like everyone else does. Given the circumstances she's dealt, she doesn't view him as a jerk that no one could tolerate. She sees good in him somewhere.

The struggles for the junior brunette goes far deeper than just a basic high school girl waiting for prom night. Cataleya struggles to keep her friendship with Chase, her best friend, her other newer friends she'd recently met, and her bond with Logan alive, which still continues to grow.
