Runaway: Prologue

Samantha Weller is plagued by her mother and her mother's band of criminals. Beaten, bruised and isolated she goes on knowing one day her mother will end her life. When she's captured by her mother and ready to be killed she escapes when a criminal turns his back.

She runs for her life and then she finds Trey. A sometimes nervous, caring boy who takes her into his care. When they both develop feelings quickly Sam decides to start over. From then on she lives a normal life the way she's always wanted.

But what if the past catches up with her? What happens when one day she finds her dad on her doorstep? or someone following her wherever she goes?
