Prologue

Melody is from the Angel realm that watches over Middle Earth. Each Angel is given someone to watch over and Melody's is Thorin Oakenshield. She has been watching over him since she was very young.

When she discovers that Thorin is going on a quest to reclaim Erebor she asks her Queen to join him. Her wish is granted and she is sent to Middle Earth to protect Thorin.

Thorin soon starts to fall for her. His feelings growing for her each moment he is with her. Melody also falls for the Dwarf prince.

Will they admit their feelings? Will Thorin accept her for who she really is?
