Little did I know that a knock on my front door on a Wednesday afternoon would turn my life upside down.

It would change everything.

Had I have known this ever-so-useful piece of information beforehand, I would never have opened the door. In actual fact, I would have made sure I was as far away from it as possible.

Unfortunately I don't happen to possess mind-reading powers, so therefore, the knock on the door came.

And the one person who would singlehandedly destroy my life and make me question everything I've ever known, appeared.

Right in front of me. He was RIGHT there.

And there was nothing I could do.
