Prologue

Man's war with giant monsters comes to a head in the year 2020 when members of the United Nations bring a mysterious new superpower to life and enact Operation Destroy All Monsters, killing Mothra and Godzilla. An unexpected chain reaction turns their ultimate success into a living nightmare and the fate of all life on Earth suddenly falls into the tiny hands of the freshly orphaned Shobijin. With the aid of a ragtag band of the King's former allies and enemies, they set out to bring balance to the world and clear monster-kind's name.
