Description

Loosely based on the poem "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou. 15 year old Xola is battling with her capability to control her temper using boxing as her outlet. With her personal demons from her troubling childhood, at only seven years old she witnessed the suicide of her dad and ever since then she's embedded the mindset that everyone is set to leave her. Caged with pain, anger and loss she lacks hope that she will ever be free.
