Chapter One

When Aya Nara is promoted from the second Lieutenant of Squad Eleven, to the Captain of the newly formed Squad Fourteen, she's speechless. Her Bankai had been kept secret from all but a select few, so who told about it? Which one of her friends betrayed her? The answer may just drive them apart, putting a wedge between them that's nearly impossible to remove. But when it's found out that Aya's been keeping a secret not only from her friends but from her family as well, will they be able to forgive one another and work through their problems together? Or will they be permanently shoved apart, with a rift of distrust and betrayal forever between them?
