Prologue

After their house catches fire, Izzy has to come to terms with her father's death. As if being a 17 year-old girl isn't hard enough, she has a feeling that she is being pursued by a strange being. Well trying to keep herself alive, Izzy deals with an inattentive boyfriend, an awful step-father, and questioning her sexuality. To top it all off, it seems as though her dad's death may not have been caused by an everyday house fire...
