Octavia Cosgrove has spent her whole life believing that the regulations that are placed upon her society are there for their safety and overall well-being. The terrorist attacks from fellow Americans, over a hundred years ago, has left the west side of America inhabitable. The government has since unforced rules to keep the people in line. But at what cost? Her blindness faith in the government quivers when she meets Xander, a boy from the west side.
