Chapter 1 : Death and Revival

Coming back from the dead really isn't all it's cracked up to be.

College student and amateur mage Ashley would very much like her life to go back to normal, but unfortunately, it's much easier said than done. Especially when she lives in a society where coming back from the dead is a criminal offense.

In light of this, Ashley teams up with a detective by the name of Juniper to solve the mystery surrounding her death and subsequent revival. But Juniper is hiding some secrets of her own.
