Description
Kennedy Dawson, a recent high school graduate from a small Midwestern town doesn't believe in love. Kennedy and her mother have spent the past five years in a loveless home trying to survive her alcoholic father. As Kennedy seems to have lost all hope for a future, her mother disappears suddenly, revealing her abusive father's dark history, and leaving her to face the biggest fight of or her life yet. As everything she has known comes crumbling down and traumatic events and realizations shake the fragile foundation she's standing on, she finds unlikely support in her best friend's adopted brother who has his own dark history to recover from.
