Description
The Plexus Project is a neural network simulation, in which the consciousness of an individual is uploaded to a Quantum Computational Server (QCS). Once fully uplinked, the user is unable to control their host vessel (ie: the physical, third-dimensional body) until logging out of the network. They are given a digital one, similar to the concept of virtual reality seen in cinematic portrayals like Tron or Ready Player One, composed essentially of unlimited quanta and voxel. However, it was not always this exuberant. Its birth is a tragic life-lesson humanity learned the hard way. Alpha testing was conducted on animals, and Beta testing on humans. Both trial runs were unsuccessful and saw many fatal casualties. In general consensus, the testing done on human subjects came far too early in the algorithmic evolution. But that's neither here nor there. Now, Plexus is a construct that people not only accept... they embrace. . . . . . . . BingBangCo. presents: stories from the Plexiverse...
