Anna is a 16-year-old junior at Greenpark High School in a small town in Indiana. Anna is an outcast afraid to show her true self, with no one else like her. That is, until the day she meets 16-year-old David Desrosiers, a new student at GHS from Canada. He isn't the average kid who comes to GHS, and because of this, Anna takes an interest in him. As they begin to get to know each other, Anna feels an instant connection to David, but she's not sure what to do with it. Anna and David quickly become best friends–and more. Everything is perfect, or at least it seems to be, until the night Anna gets a call that will change her–and David's–lives forever. You must fall before you fly
