Chapter One

"Audrey! You know us!" The man yelled at me. He wasn't my target. He was someone else. Someone I thought I remembered. "It's me, Todd," he breathed. He stood in front of all of my targets, and I couldn't bring myself to shoot him. "You can't do this. You're not a part of this. Try to remember Danny." That name made something inside snap. My face turned soft and relaxed my shoulders. Captain America took a step in front of the man who claimed to be Todd and took a deep breath.
"You don't need to be in this, Todd. I surrender," he yelled to me.
