"And who might you be?" His dark eyes darted back and forth between her blue ones, unreadable yet searching and she barely suppressed a shiver. She knew the question was a formality, his tone indicated he knew who she was. At the very least, he knew what she was.

"Andy."

"Andy." Her name rolled off his tongue, slowly, as if he was savoring the taste. He could have very well been, her heart was pumping very quickly, the scent carrying her fear.

"How charming... my name rare one, is Elijah Mikaelson."
