Chapter One

Three years ago, Jim Hawkins-- a boy who didn't see a future for himself--took a risk and embarked on the voyage of a lifetime. Now, at the age of 19 he is fresh out of the academy and working on the RLS Legacy under the command of Captain Amelia Smollet. All seems to be going to plan, until a stranger--bloodied and bruised--stumbles into the Benbow Inn. All she has are the clothes on her back and a map leading to an unexplored corner of the universe. Old friends reunite, dark pasts are revealed, and relationships are kindled as the group embark on a new voyage-- far more dangerous than anything they've ever done before.
