"No!" The young girl shrieked, "they're lying!"
The pope watched the girl sadly, "put your hand to the fire and the truth will be revealed." The girls eyes widened, while the two creatures watched with smirks. One of them grabbed the struggling girl and shoved her hand into the candle, gasps rang around the clearing as nothing happened, her hand didn't burn... she was one of them.
