"You think I'll be the dark sky so you can be the star? I'll swallow you whole." Saviour Complex meets Depression Personified. Simply put, Holland is an asshole. With the exception of his childhood best friend (god bless their soul), he talks to no one else his age unless it's absolutely necessary. This is nobody's fault but his, though, as he pushes everyone away and is extremely rude and standoffish anytime someone tries to befriend him. As a result, nobody likes him very much (surprise surprise), and they all avoid interacting with him. During one of his nightly breakdowns, he was considering ending his life when he decided to get help and signed up for a buddy program online- a program where you can confide anonymously in a stranger and seek professional help if needed. He's almost positive it's a waste of time, but he wants a change, so he tries it out, not knowing he'd be stuck with his buddy for a month. Unfortunately for him, his buddy is the type of person he hates most and is determined to save him. Even though Holland deeply regrets signing up with every fibre of his body, he can't help but think that maybe this was what he needed.
