"Um, hi, I'm new. Can we be friends?" I had held out my hand nervously for her to shake, not knowing if she would even shake it. She had slowly looked up at me from playing with her strings from her hoodie. "You, want to be friends, with me?" She asked, very suspiciously. "Uh, yes? You seem like you would be a good friend?" She laughed to herself, like she knew how this was going to end. "You can try." A story, in which a new boy, Aaron, suddenly moves to a small town, catching everyone's attention. Except the one person he wants it from most, Ellie. Ellie, however, has lived in Niceville, Florida since forever. She knows everything about the town, including the people. She knows the person who tries to befriend her will eventually leave. Until she meets Aaron.
