Why hasn't this happened yet?

When Frank finds a strange-looking rock he decides to do the logical thing and livestream himself breaking it open, only to reveal to the whole world the hatching of a dragon. Before he knows it Frank finds himself stuck in a conflict between the human government wondering what on earth is going on, the fairy government wanting to keep everything quiet, and the illegal magic dealer who had originally wanted to use the smuggled dragon egg for different purposes, but now might just have a use for Frank too...
