Maxon is the thirteen year old daughter of Marcus Higgins. When Maxi's dad gets a phone call saying his old coach, Couch Buzzer died, Max and her dad reunite with Marcus's old friends for the funeral. They spend the weekend at a house by the lake, where she has a great time. How will this weekend end up? Will she develop a crush? Make some new best friends?
