Description

We all know the transition from High School to College is...hard. For this pair, it was about to get a lot harder. In Book 2 of The Biker Series, we catch up with Liz and Jason as they left things. A mess. Ellie is now dating Jeremy and has officially gotten back into that 'normal' lifestyle she had been craving since meeting Jason. While Jason has thrusted himself into everything Lucifer's Angels. However, after seeing each other again, they can't help but wonder if their relationship is one worth fighting for. With Ellie not sure if a life of crime is a life she wants for the rest of hers, and Jason not sure if Ellie would stay with him through thick & thin. But after Jason makes a shocking discovery which leads him on the path of finding his mother's murderer, and Ellie finds clues as to who her birth parents are; they both realize they'll need each other a lot more than they thought. - "It's your past though, so I-I don't know. I wanted to know more." He smirked. A reaction I'd missed more than everything, but for some reason felt out of place in this situation. He pulled me in closer again, forcing me to feel every clench of his body. "You want to know more about me?" My dress was already too thin to protect me from the cold, but the warmth of his body only chilled me further. "I figured that it's strange to say I was once engaged to a man I didn't know everything about." I whispered back into his ear. Spinning me around to hold me from behind, I felt his breath on my neck, causing the hair to raise. "Believe me, you know everything." "Do I?" "Let's test it shall we? What am I thinking about right now?" I laughed against him. This is the man I remembered. The one I loved. "Something I should not say out loud." - To move forward, they'll need to look back.
