Author's Note

Dr. Evelyn Marx had a great life for the most part. That hadn't always been the case and there were years where she had to fight to make it happen, but she was satisfied with where she was. She had a satisfying job and great friends, so when she lost it all to a moment of stupidity, she was more than a little bitter. To make matters worse, she had no idea how she went from a beach in Maui to the middle of a game she hadn't played in years. Surviving would be her first goal, but she was slowly finding it would not be her only one.
