To atone- to do something good as a way to show that you are sorry about doing something bad.

"When you drop a plate and say you're sorry, does it repair the plate?"

When the country you love is slowly being consumed by darkness and the people you saught to protect have all but been destroyed, what is left to fight for? Eachother.
Nicolas and his followers must make one final push, overcome the impossible and put a stop to the most unlikely of people, the person that has plagued them from the beginning. It's time to make the hard choices and do what is necessary to end this. There is us and then there's them.
