I liked the way he said things, as if he was afraid I'd put him down if he didnt do it himself. Jamie was stupid like that, the kind of stupid that made you irritated yet in love. That was Jamie for you; stupid fucking Jamie, dead and gone Jamie. Gone like my leg. You see when that semi truck hit our van it didnt hust tear him from my life and orphan me, it took a physical part of me, my right leg.
