Prologue

"It's you, it's you. It was all for you. Everything I do, and this was all your fault."

They call me Buttons, the heroes do at least. I despise them with everything I got. They don't understand a damn thing, it was her fault this happened. All her fault. And I will make sure she knows.

"Kyle? Kyle! It's me! You have to remember!"

She shouted, her voice shaking with every word staring at the villain standing before her. Her legs shook, seeming as though she could fall over at any second.

"The name's not 'Kyle.'" He approached, holding a hand to her throat and locking his dark red eyes to her light turquoise blue ones.

"It's Buttons."
