Waylon has had a very difficult up brining and often distances himself from others. Growing up he learned that nobody can truly be trusted, he learned that sometimes people won't give a care in the world about you... no matter how much love you give to them.

He thought that he would be better off alone. Better off surviving the way he always had, not trusting anyone or letting anyone in. Well he believed this until he met Ruby-Mai Holstun.
