Description
In 2016-2017, Ricky Patterson, a lower class teenage boy with repressed trauma, and his friend group are in the early stages of growing up, hoping they can make it to the other side. Ricky feels that his friends are all he has due to having no family present besides his deadbeat father. Ricky's best friends are Dustin Hatchard- a boy who lives in a severely broken and dysfunctional home, Alan Rosenthal- a brave and hardened teenager from Blackman Highrise, Josh Arlington- a high class nerd from the country club and his brother Bif. And Eva Harlan, the resident goth girl and aspiring outcast. Ricky's group finds themselves in hot water when they unintentionally start a problem with some kids from a street gang. With that, an everlasting battle against classism, and the domestic struggles, will they still make it?
