Culling

Liv can feel the changes coming, and she knows what they mean. Dry mouth, cold skin, aversion to sunlight. She's infected, as are others in her small town of Nocturne, North Carolina, including many of the kids in her school. Will she grow fangs and start biting people? Based on her increasingly urgent (and violent) cravings, that seems likely.

As she's soon to find out, Liv is one of the Sacred, marked for rebirth by the ancient Plague Kings. Her turning ritual will begin during the Feast of Famine. So can she stop the feast before she and her friends lose their souls? Only if they can survive the Plague Kings.
