November 8, 2046.

Aberrants. Humans born with abilities capable of destroying society as we know it. In order to curb their reach, an impromptu government that goes under the name "Penumbra" has hired Hunters-people skilled enough to deal with the said Aberrants-to take them out.

Crimson is one of those Hunters.

An experience with an Aberrant leaves him with two things:
One, a lingering feeling of doubt that what he's doing is right; and two, the knowldedge that he is an Aberrant himself.
