You, the only human in hallownest, stumble upon the grimm troupe after they myseriously appear out of seemingly nowhere in dirtmouth. You are asked by the troupe master, Grimm to help with a ritual to help guarantee the survival of his troupe, to which you comply. However, in the most important moment of the ritual, something goes wrong and you're transported across the nightmare realm to a new universe and something happens you would never have expected.
