Welcome to the medieval town of Elverg. This town is full of honest, hard-working people, but every year on the same day, someone from this kingdom mysteriously dies. Each year the deaths become more gruesome and the stories to cover them up become more elaborate. The only person who knows the truth behind these awful murders is Odelle. Odelle is the town's midwife and children's physician, and has now been forced into being the king's pet. She never expected her life to become this, but the king has big plans for her.
