"You have caused me more trouble than I can bare. I've contemplated ending your life twice since I've known you." his warm breath in my ear sent a shiver down my spine.

"And what is stopping you?" I challenged his words, leering at his impatience.

"My own folly" he admitted, grabbing my chin in his warm palm, " you have slipped under my skin, invaded my blood and seized my veins."

"You have described the aftermath of a deadly venom. A volatile liquid one would slip into the cup of an arrogant king" was all I could counter. His confession had both shocked and thrilled me.

"So I have and you my queen, have poisoned me." he whispered against my neck.
