When standards of beauty changed so drastically that everyone wore masks to hide their faces.

Standards were so high that no one even knew what the 'perfect face' was anymore.

If you asked someone if your beautiful even they wouldn't know.

"Jungkook wear this" his mother put on a mask,

"Why eomma? Why do we wear masks?"

"It's something you won't understand."

That's all she ever explained to him, even when he got older she never explained further. He grew up covering his face with a mask.
