Millie 'Millicent' Morgan is spending the summer with her cousin Kaycee in the town of Hearthe Falls.

Things take a turn for the worst when Kaycee is accused of murdering the owner of the competing bakery, Amelia Copper. Vowing to clear Kaycee's name, Millie takes on solving the case but finds more secrets than answers in the small town.
It's a tale of mystery, friendship and a bit of love.
