"Nick, I can't be with you," I said softly. His hand slipped from my face and he scowled.
"Why the hell not, I'm willing to give up Taylor for you, I need you Lucy!" he shouted. I flinched and heard him sigh. Nick was an Alpha and when he used his Alpha voice it scared me, it always did even now.
"I'm sorry, but yo're my mate, I...I can't do anything without you, the thought of living without you is just too painful to endure, please, give me a chance" he begged. My wolf yipped in excitement and my heart thumped wildly in my chest. Nick wanted us, after all these years.
"Nick I-"
