taylor falls for hayley; hayley falls into a deep hole of inexplicable darkness in which he can no longer find her. he watches as she gradually fades into another girl, a second one residing in her growingly unfamiliar mind, whom taylor is not sure he could ever love.
and as he watches the two blindingly opposing parts of herself battle in her mind, he tries to find a way to bring the love of his life back into the light.
