Prologue

When Blaze goes to Sand Island, she goes in as a nugget (a.k.a. a beginner pilot). Two missions later, she is made captain after hers is shot down and goes M.I.A. Blaze, along with her best friends and wingmen Chopper, Nagase and Grimm, start turning the tide of the war as they begin winning battle after battle. At the peak of their career, their lives take a turn for the worst when the loss of a friend nearly makes Blaze lose her sanity and when they are all accused for something they didn't do. After that, it is up to them to live up to their nickname and end the war once and for all, revealing the lies and deceit along the way.
