Contact with Vikram Lander broken

Indian Space Research Center ISRO official has informed that we have lost contact with Chandrayaan 2 and our team is constantly trying to contact him. Earlier, when the lander was moving closer to the lunar surface, only a few minutes before the scheduled soft landing, due to some technical problem, its contact with the control center located on Earth has broken.
