*THIS SUMMARY IS ASHTONS POV* Amber was a complicated person. She was difficult to read and it's unbelievably hard to gain her trust. Maybe that's why when I asked her such a silly question I expected that we'd be here all night waiting for her reply. "What would happen if I were to fall in love with two people?" Was my question. But she didn't take all night. She didn't even take more than a minute. Amber glanced at me and shyly smiled before whispering her response. "If you fall in love with two people, pick the second. You wouldn't have fallen for the second if you truly loved the first." That's the sentence that made me realize I had fallen in love with something broken and if I didn't want to be cut by the broken shards, then I needed to pick up the pieces soon.
